A guy I know broke his back on a motorbike trip through Europe and had to go 100k in debt to get airlifted back to the UK because his holiday insurance didn't cover motorbikes. That plus getting put in a wheelchair for life made it not a great holiday for him but ymmv.

It's fun to check out but there's not a lot to do there if you're not ultra rich.

I got an overnight train from Paris to Nice, it's a good trip, good countryside and cool little towns etc.

I know a few people who have been to Monaco, they say it's good for a day but it's so ****ing expensive and there's nothing to do there. Speaking of expensive I loved Reykjavik and the rest of Iceland but man it's pricey
