chrome is the nuts

get all the [THOSE WHICH SHALL NOT BE NAMED HERE] extensions, the imgur extension (right click any photo and reupload instantly), the facebook photo zoom extension (greatest facebook stalk feature ever invented) and you're set.

Aren't most/all of those apps available for Firefox too? Plus you get the added benefit of not helping Google track all your ****.

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, and Forum Discussion

I hate google ever since I got a gmail account and as a result of that, was told that I could no longer use my old youtube account that was tied to like a hotmail address or something. And it won't even let me transfer my stuff from my old account to my new one.

"Better Gmail" is an extension-it removes some ads and other crap (chat windows) from Gmail. Same with Reader Plus, it just cleans up nonsense on google reader.

I think the whole point is to be results oriented. It's silly to discuss worse trades ever without discussing the ones that went horrifically wrong due to injuries or draft picks or whatever.

She has done things like not allowing groomsmen to have dates to the wedding unless they are married (only 1 of us) even if they are in other long-term relationships (two of us have girlfriends that we've been with longer than they've been together), complaining about how none of the groomsmen had bought a wedding present a month before the wedding (she knows this bc she asked for gifts to be shipped to her parents house and has been opening them), and adding all kinds of ridiculous accessories to an odd colored tux that will cost over $200 to rent for one day despite being from men's wearhouse (base price is $99).
Holy crap, this sucks. Everyone chip in for a great set of golf clubs? Not a golf fan, how about something else sports or booze related?

Children is an amazingly polarizing issue. No middle ground at all. I feel fortunate to have successfully traversed that minefield with all my limbs intact. But I think no kids is def reasonable.

That's not to say that not allowing GROOMSMEN to bring dates (within reason, there was a non-zero chance my one unmarried groomsman would have brought an escort) isn't hugely lol.
Groomsman bringing an escort is a hudge win for the party tho. It's all about the party.

I know, right. If he'd only gotten into town a day earlier, it was definitely in play.

The most whorish one actually got stuck out of town on business, but she would not have been allowed to bring a date, because as you said above, it's all about the party. Plus we weren't paying for booze for some dude she met at the bar pre-party.

To the extent it's relevant to the larger conversation, we invited any spouses and/or long term gfs/bfs as long as we knew their names, but "single" people didn't get to bring dates.

Your boys stealing wine from behind the bar, then using car keys to open the bottles was def one of the reception highlights.

They didn't steal, they "convinced" the bartender that they needed to bring a bottle to the bride on the dance floor.

You'd think you'd exchange phone numbers or emails with someone you invited to your wedding, hopefully the PM system will be up and running again soon on 2p2.
