Thought I'd share with SE a little update.

Today was day one of my third year at the AAC school. It's been a fun ride to this point and definitely had ups and downs. Magic Johnson mentioning Coastal Carolina today was a fun moment for a few group chats today. Got to "coach"(we have a disproportionate amount of coaches out of the building this week so I get to take on a wider role for a few days) for the first time since I coached high school football. I've had the opportunity to work with football, women's volleyball and men's and women's basketball the past 2 years.

It's a long way from sitting in a week's worth of meetings with NCAA compliance in Indianapolis 11 years ago never thinking I'd be at this level again. I never thought I'd top the high of winning a BCS bowl. But getting older, finding your niche, and doing something you love day in and day out really does take the cake.

I know this forum is a shell of its former self. I do check in occasionally and read and during football I'll comment. But it was a great place to get away from reality for a while when I needed it.

Hope everyone else is doing awesome too.
