There's starting to be some issues of Andys becoming worse and worse. There was the dude who streamed himself driving into a tractor trailer, now Arab Andy with his 75k bail and bomb threat charges (and given his history I find him to be in a really really bad spot and facing like 10 years worst case).
This is in addition to his chat calling every hotel/store/establishment that he goes to, and people generally showing up whenever and crashing the stream.
I see a future where YouTube and other mainstream sites crack down on this and eventually a site with no ethics who is technically capable comes along and things get out of hand.
Curious to see the fall out once the New Yorker piece comes out. Adrien Chen is, deservedly, a highly regarded writer whose articles people will read just because he wrote it, no matter the subject. The vast majority will have never heard of Ice Poseidon or know wtf an Andy or Scuffed____ is till now.
I can't imagine it will be a total hit piece because it's pretty obvious Adrien genuinely likes Ice and is a fan of his streams, but at the same time he can't really sugarcoat things when anyone reading the article can easily google Ice and see for themselves.
