Annual 10k draft. 12-teams, 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1 te, 2 flex, defStandard PPR scoring except 6pt Passing TDs, yardage bonuses at 100/150/200 rush/rec, 300/400/500 Passing and carries bonuses at 20/25/30.

Unlike last year where we were thrilled, this year not one guy really "fell" to us. Did ok but not amazing.

Houston can't be totally underwater. Just played a game of Golden Tee and a few of the other players were from there. RESPECT.

Like the 5th best. We struggled with rd 3 and had our board decimated in advance of rd 7 where we reached as a result. We had a few strong opinions particularly our rd 2 pick. Got sniped several times and never lucked out with a guy falling.

Team 4

team 12 has the worst RB situation Ive ever seen. good chance he has no one to start by week 4

Pretty good league, team's 10 and 11 really impress late there. Team 8 got off to an epic start and then ruined it after the Walker pick.

Cameron Meredith and Spencer Ware in the 6th round is a bad beat for those teams

Especially because they were hero picks with obvious better players left at the time

I was faced with the same sort of challenge, and just decided to spend less time. Truthfully I was just spending too much time before. I've not done a mock draft yet and it's Aug 28th. I'll do a couple the day before my drafts and I know that it's enough. I don't really make many trade offers either. That said I for sure respect the decision. Just saying perhaps you can try the other way too. You'd be surprised how naturally it'll come to you if you're still watching the NFL anyway.

I think bitcoin and crypto is awesome, but I can't quite rationalize the massive amount of electricity that it consumes.

every year that I spent 40-60 hours sitting down and studying the teams and players and making projections and doing rudimentary calculations, I did very well and made good money.

in the years that I just kind of winged it, I did not do as well, nor did I enjoy it as much.

right now, I dont really want to make the time the put into it, and I dont think I would enjoy studying it as I used to.

also, and ppl may lol at this, watching players break their brains makes me feel a bit grossed out at this point.

so since I live in browns country, I was familiar with pryor last year. he def has some talent but it seemed that he benefited by getting peppered with tons of targets on a terrible team that had to throw a lot and was often in garbage time with opponents not really trying.

also, I am always leery of wr that switch teams. and him only have one decent season with little competition for targets and now going to a team with at least 2 other players owning targets is worrisome to me.

but wtf do I know, I quit nfl and fantasy.

Bitcoin will become completely worthless if it never can actually purchase things. Yes its cool that you can fund gambling accounts, buy kiddie porn, and cyrstal meth with it, but it needs to actually have real life application if its going to sustain the demand that is artificially pumping up its market cap.

Its a massive gamble (with a lot of upside) that people ptobably shouldnt be putting too much of their assets into. Things dont shoot up like that if there isnt also downside associated with it. And the downside is literally 0.

And stuff like "itll be worth 500k per coin within 3 years" just simply isnt true because if it were, it would be trading at a lot higher than 4300 or whatever by now.

Any recs on a good basketball to buy for primarily outdoor use? Whenever someone brings a ball to the gym, wilson evolutions seem to be top tier, but that would get destroyed on pavement.

Furthermore the behavior/hysteria currently going on wrt crypto is literally textbook pre-burst behavior.

Once fomo morons start piling in without any real knowledge on the subject, and people start throwing out insane too-good-to-be-true projections while completely dismissing any/every downside possibility

its basically lock that something significantly bad is going to happen.

I have a decent chunk invested in crypto (mostly as a hedge against the world imploding) but I am far from a fanboi and have a lot of the same concerns as Larry and TuT.

Blockchain technology is the future and I'm pretty confident saying it will be the next technological paradigm shift. Problem with BTC or ETH or other currencies is that they arent a perfect 1:1 exposure to blockchain technology (much like buying amazon or pets or Priceline stock wasn't perfect exposure to the internet)
