Well I guess it makes sense that the biggest craps degen I know told me that Pass > Don't Pass EV wise.

if dont pass really is better odds (I thought they were the same odds) then we really need to find a way to make that the acceptable bet for everyone on the table. same amount of fun and different rooting interests if everyone flips to dont pass.

With the NFL combine coming up I decided a few weeks ago I was going to try to do my ol' try to compete with the players on the 225 rep thing. So been doing a ton of endurance based lifting to try and get it up to as high as I could go. I figure my best bet at competing was with the DB's and their date is the 28th. So that is my end date on what I could do. I figure all the OL and DL will throw up around 20+ and I got no chance of doing that.

Today was my first try to see what I can do after a few weeks and with 2+ weeks to go. Threw up 225 13 times with a pretty close fail on 14. Extremly pumped as my goal was 8 going into it. I haven't maxed out in nearly 4 years and stopped benching and squatting entirely until 2 months ago. I figure if I can hit 15-16 that would be pretty respectable for most of the players going there under 275 pounds.

this dual-objective (low inflation + full employment) stuff leads to a ton of obfuscation and distrust, which would be easily dispelled by switching to the policy discussed above. But then again, the typical american has not a clue what the federal reserve is supposed to do, let alone how it conducts open market operation w/ the use of sale and repurchase agreements and less frequently quantitative easing (the purchasing of vast amounts of U.S. bonds from primary dealers such as Goldman Sachs and Citigroup in order to increase the money supply for economically stimulative purposes)

Actually that is a pretty tough one. I suspect there is a lot of overlap between the two groups.
