i remember my brother pissed me off once for something relatively benign, so i went to a nearby church of scientology and signed him up on some interest list. apparently those guys are pretty aggressive when they get leads. it's been a couple years and he's still getting letters and phone calls

ITT we worry about a $2 delivery fee.

If I'm hungry enough that I remotely consider "boy, I'd like some food but it's a pain to drive and I dang sure ain't making anything myself", two bucks is ++++++EV

So you instantly think I will order bk?

It's not so much the fee as the fee to have garbage delivered to you.

I heard on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that eating whenever you want cheats your biological needs and you will feel a lesser sense of satisfaction.

Something like that, makes sense.

Let us all eat healthier and less.

dkgo, and/or go to an atm and get cash, whatever. just saves having to pay $20 here, $40 there, w/e, and keep track of what you have paid and what you haven't...just write up all the expenses on a sheet in the kitchen and then even up with each other every couple months. We all have known each other forever so it works just fine and is a lot easier imo

a dude in my freshman dorm once tried to write a 5 dollar check to cover his share of a keg

one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen a human being do

Right, it's the BK, not the $2.

that sounds ludicrous.

I did have a friend that apparently settled an Acey-Ducey debt with a check, although I wasn't there to see it, just heard about it.

It was a pretty epic debt though that occurred in a 50cent game or something where the pot got bloated to 1kish back in high school when we all grinded $7/hr jobs

I think everyone who gambled with friends in high school/college had that one day where someone lost a ton playing acey ducey.

My buddy refuses to play it to this day. He'll just get up cash out and leave if we are adamant about it.

in my senior year of HS, we used to degen blackjack hard all day every day... lunch and study halls turned into gamb000000l sessions. so much so that the next year the HS banned playing cards from being used on campus, citing my friends and me specifically (they even used my name, i was told, although we never even sniffed trouble when we were there) trololol. no one ever really got upset and no problems came out of it (amazingly), but apparently the HS administrators weren't too enamored with their seniors gambling it up all day.

only two or three of us were ever really willing to deal. everyone else saw dealing as an undesirable task since, in their minds, you could lose so much more money whereas when you are playing you only have your individual bet. we'd keep tab sheets then pay up after school.

here are the rules we played by (and im not kidding):

no pushes... tie goes to the dealer, even if both the player and dealer have blackjack.
blackjack paid even money
dealer could choose whether to hit or stay (everyone had one card up).

was truly amazing. the three of us that dealt never understood why no one else ever asked to deal, but we weren't complaining.

everyone always paid up too. i dont ever recall there being an issue.

Remember POGs? I got free rolled so hard back in third grade, cleaned a kid out and then he went and complained to the teacher and she made me give him back all the POGs I won. What a bitch, ****ing third grade gamblers
