Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, and Forum Discussion

I used to watch the NHL playoffs on Versus just to see Charissa Thompson. But the best female ESPN personality is still Beadle.

And the best male personality is SVP. His golf coverage is particularly awesome.

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, and Forum Discussion

Naming the best ESPN personalities is too easy, it's obviously Beadle and SVP (although Raftery might give SVP a run for his money if we include non anchors). Worst is more interesting, lots and lots of nominees for that. Berman vs Stu Scott could stump scholars for ages

"Well Dressed Amani Toomer" and "Andre Bad Moon Rison" tho. At least Berman has Bermanisms and funny Youtube blow-ups, even if he is intolerable

Oh man worst is just so loaded with candidates. Berman probably wins, but they have Dilfer, Skip Bayless, Stuart Scott, an endless supply of rotating dumb former athletes, Tom Jackson, Colin Cowherd, Mike & Mike, jesus I'm getting mad just writing this time for a pregame cocktail.

Bayliss should never be on anyone's "worst" list. Him and Woody Paige are the best in the business.

NFL Network crushes ESPN for badness on the male side and hotness of the female side. Michael Irvin, Warren Sapp and Deion Sanders together is just so brutal. Meanwhile,

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, and Forum Discussion

Berman is by far the worst because he's inescapable. Most of the other awful people there are at least fairly easy to avoid. But Berman has infused himself into everything. It's like 15 years ago he took ESPN hostage and nobody has been able to bring justice.

Though I do feel like Berman's nadir was maybe a few years ago. He was in a dark place.

No mention of Dick Vitale in the "worst" list? Does he count as a personality?

We need to somehow fuse together 2 Minute Drill and Stump the Schwab.

Take the format of Stump the Schwab, take out Schwab and Stuart Scott. Replace with Kenny Mayne or SVP as host, find a sports geek who is way less of a douche.

I literally have no idea who you are, other than apparently some POGtard who follows me around in both OOT and SE and tells me how awful I am.

But you brought up a good point, I should just put Berman on TV ignore. That way I won't have to see or hear him and can enjoy ESPN again.

The Schwab was a douche, but he had to be - who is going to know that much about anything without being a douche? What's insane about the Schwab's sports knowledge was that he had no real weak spots. He would get questions wrong, but it wasn't like he had a subject that he would just have to punt on.

If you have friends you do something other than memorizing sports trivia.
