[icon] || [Sport]: [Year] [League] [Regular season/Playoffs/Offseason]

Not sure how the current titles with 'Poll' would be affected.

"Official" should be the first word of every thread imo. Otherwise no one will know which thread is the right one or whether they need to start an official thread.

Was a decision ever made about whether or not Greear10 would be allowed back on for the playoff gameday thread?

This has to happen. It will make that thread 100x funnier.

It's 2-0 in the first half, isn't that roughly the equivalent of the Falcons-Bucs being 42-0 midway through the second quarter

Prepare to hear about the 4 times a team came back from 2-0 and won the game

avg goals/game this year in the PL has been ~3, so not nearly that drastic.

more like 21-0 at HT

edit: man city are currently -1250, which is better odds than you could've got on a Giants win at HT on sunday iirc.

Refs can't award free touchdowns afaik.

Penalty shots seem a bit random and gay.

This forum used to have some variant of "****OFFICIAL" at the beginning of like 85% of all threads.

true, but an implied ~8% chance that the team 2-0 up at HT will not win the game is not at all similar to 42-0 falcons.

ut: penalties are not auto goals, they are converted ~80% of the time. i'd compare it to a 40 yd PI call in the endzone or something similar. i agree that its a poor way to decide the winner in a knockout tournament.
