My alcohol consumption right now is something like this:

85.0% wine
11.0% mixed drinks (nightclubs)
3.5% "good" beer (generally with food)
0.5% "crappy" beer (when gambling)

A year ago today I was being courted around Atlanta by a national semi-finalist team and about to see a great NCAAF game.

What a difference a year makes. Here's to 2012 being a much better year.

Happy New Year everyone. Good food and good drink all around. I'm sure everyone's evening will be wonderful. (i'll be having captain and sprite with some classy champagne).

PBR is nasty.

It does not surprise me that it is the beer choice of hipsters.

(That is not to say that I enjoy drinking Natty or Keystone. But if I have to choose between waterbeer and overrated awfulness, I'll take the waterbeer tyvm.)

Coors Original is pretty good too as far as cheap domestic macrobrews.

Yeah, but among 13-year-olds there's no practical difference between a hipster and a scenester (not that there really is among people in their twenties, either).

I think hipsters tend to listen to indie acoustic in coffee shops while scenesters listen to emo at local concert venues.

when i was in college, scenester and hipster were fairly interchangeable, though sometimes scenester was used in reference to a specific scene (usually the local hardcore scene).

m2tr,

First full beer I had was a Coors Light stolen from my friend's dad's garage. Fond memories.

Shock Top also decent. No idea who owns it but the label says St. Louis so I guess AB/InBev?

Their Belgian White is good and I just picked up a six pack of Raspberry Wheat which is also tasty. I like fruity beer though, wanna fight about it?
