So I also am on the fence, but it's worth trying. If people want it added back, we can. Also nothing that says some minor commentary can't happen here either. For example, yesterday I'd expect a lot of the play-by-play of the breaking news to come here. Bigger picture political stuff could go to the other thread. We can always undo this.
trying to put together my top 5 songs of 2015 and it's INSANELY hard. 2015 might have been the GOAT year for music.
tay tay, biebs, nick jonas, weeknd, derulo, ellie, drizzy, shaggy and now even adele is dropping fire late in the game?
goddamn
There's a DJ I follow on youtube. Every year since 2008, in December he takes the Billboard Top 25 for that year and mashes them all up into a really cool mix. This year he did the top 50.

Thing is, I think the FAQ is sort of a naturally flowing conversation that is generally lighthearted banter but can ultimately turn to politics when there are newsworthy events, similar to irl conversations that grown-ass adults have.
Topics are generally cyclical and there are a handful of topics that come up in the FAQ that I don't care for and I just skip over. For instance, I skip over just about everything music-related. If that's where the conversation ends up, sad day for me. As with any other FAQ topic, it will pass soon enough.
Segmenting or restricting conversation topics hurts the free-flowing nature of the FAQ imo.
