It is an excellent album, and that rarest of things - an album that your parents like, your buddy who only ever listens to whatever is on the radio, etc.
However, may I humbly suggest these titles as worthy of your consideration sir:
The crowd heckle him the whole way through and, exasperated, he turns to the band and shouts "play it ****ing loud" before they launch into a rousing rendition of 'Like a Rolling Stone'. Just an awesome performance over the two very different discs.
People are going to laugh at me for this without even listening to the record, but this really is a great, great set. John Mayer is an exceptional guitar player, and a live setting allows him to express himself an awful lot more. Some really great blues on here essentially.
Hit and miss the whole way through - an artist trying out things and finding their sound. But when it hits, my oh my. The cover of Van Morrison's 'Sweet Thing' is breathtaking.
