Having the fumbling stumbing monotone idiots that are Buck and McCarver announcing the game makes it that much worse.

i watched that whole thing. that was really depressing. the scene where he is carried into the ring is so sad.

and as a bastard capitalist myself, i still think that promoter dude saying "it's just a business decision" is an *******. and he's also a ****** since any logical thinker can see why it's a bad business decision, especially now that he's prominent featured as a douchebag to espn's enormous audience and no high level wrestling firm/company will ever want to hire him now.

Got an MJ Pandora station and in order with no skips I have gotten:

Girl is Mine
Rock With You (live) with J5
Never can say goodbye
Somebody's watching me
working day and night

Did Pandora somehow change their **** so it actually gives you what you want instead of going wherever the **** it feels like?

I can understand Stephanie McMahon acting like Scott Hall is an exception of sorts, but lol @ the E:60 guys at the beginning pretending like all the current pro wrestlers aren't on roids/painkillers/coke/etc.

Oh man, came in here to post a wrestling draft idea and saw this. No idea what it's about. Link? Details?

So, my idea. Since we've already ran a wrestling organization draft (which NEEDS to be run again at some point) I'm thinking a wrestling matches draft. Goal would be put together the best card possible.

Thinking 10+ teams. 8-10 matches. Can be from any organization from any era, though I feel like more modernish (attitude / Monday night war days) would probably get looked at in a better light depending on who's judging.

Thoughts on this?

EDIT: found link btw

It would have been one thing if they just had him stumble to the ring and try talking to the crowd, who obviously would have seen what state he was in and been pissed enough. To go on with that sham of a match and knocking him to the ground and stomping on him was just beyond absurd and also made the other guys in the ring look like such a joke.

And yeah, Stephanie came off pretty good, but it's not like anyone can verify that they've actually spent 6 figures on his rehab.

Things aren't any better btw

WWE legend Scott Hall's emotional reunion with his estranged son at the end of ESPN's documentary about the wrestler was short-lived -- sources tell TMZ, Scott's drug problems have once again forced the two apart.
I'd be surprised if he lasts too much longer .

Quite easily my favorite E:60 that I've seen. Razor Ramon is one of my all-time favorite wrestlers. Top 3 for sure. I'm kind of an "old school" wrestling geek so that means something.

This reminds of a lot of Jake "The Snake" Roberts story, minus the drugs and partying (though I'm sure Jake did the same). More of the love for the sport / feeling like you can't do anything and not wanting to move on. Brett Favre syndrome if you will.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2006–2008)
Roberts made an appearance on the October 19, 2006 edition of TNA Impact!. He announced he would referee the Monster's Ball match between Brother Runt, Abyss, Raven, and Samoa Joe at Bound for Glory. Roberts proceeded to cut a rambling, incoherent promo that was barely audible to the live audience. At least once, he ended up on his back during the promo and had trouble getting up. The promo lasted a couple of minutes live but was so incoherent that it was edited down to about 15 seconds on the broadcast of Impact! He had a snake in a bag, which he placed on Brother Runt after Runt came out and confronted Roberts. At one point, he even stuffed the snake's head down the front of Runt's pants. The confrontation was only partially aired on Impact!. At Bound for Glory, he performed his signature DDT on Raven, giving Samoa Joe the win in the match. Roberts did his signature after match ritual by putting a snake (which resembled "Revelations") on Raven.
Roberts made a one-night return to TNA in 2008 as a guest of "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal and SoCal Val's storyline wedding at Slammiversary.
[edit]PWA; Jim Rose Circus; and retirement (2008–2011)
Roberts made an appearance at Booker T's Houston-based Pro Wrestling Alliance (PWA) promotion, in which he cut a promo urging those who want to enter the wrestling business to not follow along his path. At one point he stated that he loved the wrestling business more than anything else in the world. PWA wrestler "Rockstar" Robbie Gillmore then interrupted Jake and attempted to make an alliance based upon the fact that Robbie wears an 80s style shirt featuring a cobra. Jake had just stated that all he ever wanted was a little respect, and the Rockstar's interruption irritated him. Jake then attacked Gillmore.
In May 2009, Roberts joined the Jim Rose Circus for the Jim Rose Circus vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts: The Legends Collide Tour. Advertised as "a grueling 40 city campaign" containing pretty girls, wrestling, amazing circus stunts, and a fist fight, the tour features Jim Rose and wrestler Sinn Bouldi as "Team Jake".
On January 29, 2011, Roberts wrestled what was billed as his retirement match, when he defeated Sinn Bowdee at the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) show during the WrestleReunion 5 weekend.[4]

i heard that a few months ago jeff hardy came to a tna show so ****ed up that they had sting basically hold him down and pin him against his will in the first minute of the match.

he still works for the company.

such an amazing business.

edit: lol was the main event of a ppv for the title

match starts at 7:30 or so. at ~9:00 you can see hardy try to kick out but sting doesn't let him.

haha, awesome. Hardy was always one of my favorites. Seriously though, nobody is going to do the stupid and crazy **** he's done/does without the help of drugs. Just not going to happen.

I'm sure there's a few. I feel like Mysterio, Jericho, Undertaker, Kane, and some others have their **** together for the most part. I could totally be wrong obviously.

Die... or promote midgets. Yes, there is a real life show on TV about this company with Hogan on it. Also has Nasty Boy Knobbs. lol

The entire sport is great, but everyone in it is so ****ed out of their skulls. The death rate is stupid high and sooooo many of them die so young. It's really really sad.

Yeah he spent a good portion of his peak in WCW before the Monday Night wars and then missed a decent amount of that, so that was kind of a waste.

If he would have been in WWF during that peak he would have been huge.
