They could make tickets $200/apiece in a GA place that seats 1k-1500 (I think this is how large the venue is) and it'd still sell out in 5 minutes and they'd still end up on stubhub in 10 minutes for 500-1500. Then the band looks greedy.

The hate should be 100% on ticketmaster which is a very shady and likely corrupt organization.

edit: the shows were announced a week ago, so it's not like anyone was anticipating this for a long time, they're just basically after party/holding shows after TV performances on SNL/Colbert.

i go through long stretches of barely/not reading OOT so it shouldn't be too surprising. i hadn't seen that thread before.

Well, that is strange, because as far as know, I've only been engaged by you on three occasions: The Seinfeld thread where you jumped into an ongoing argument and added nothing of note; the thread (about six months ago) where I wondered aloud who you were and whether you had ever posted anything noteworthy - then concluding you were a sidekick that offered nothing of substance; and then this latest argument over Steve Sax in which you engaged me.

So, yeah, I guess all those (one) times I brought you up, I guess that was from the asswhipping you gave me in the Seinfeld thread. I have had to go back over it a few times to see where you actually appear - (you know, to see how bad you got me compared to the 30 or so posters that actually posted something creative or funny).
