When did this happen? Totally not the vibe I get from his Twitter feed. You would know better than I, though.

KLaw is probably just butthurt that he's not in it. He should stick to his food blog.

But his 2009 ballot did get Cards fans ultra furious, so he does get points for that.

I remember someone being pissed that the Paul DePodesta character is played by Jonah Hill and portrayed as a socially-hapless goofy-looking nerd or some such, when DePodesta is a relatively normal guy.

We're like the same age?

The hokiness of Sandlot is part of its charm, in just the same way as for Field of Dreams or The Natural. Of course the whole thing is one giant fish story, how many of the things from your early adolescent years do you remember in similarly heightened fashion?

Sandlot was awesome. Reminds me alot of my childhood with my street friends I grew up with. We even had a backyard with a huge scary dog that we used to hit balls into. ****ing dog lived for 12 years and scared the **** out of us for all 12 years.

RIP Spanky.

comparing Sandlot or St Elmo's Piss to Butch and Sundance is epic lolz. I assume that's a troll.

You always gotta give the noob girl a chance. Completely agree.

you can rewatch something you enjoyed as a kid and realize it was in fact pretty stupid or mediocre. Doesn't take away whatever good memories you may have had watching it.

The sandlot's entire goal iyam is to hopefully bring you back to your own childhood in some way, not to be an oscar-award winning piece of cinema. Nobody is calling the sandlot one of the all-time great films. The sandlot is fun to watch if you watch it for what it is.
