last year nonsubscribers could pay directv the $350 to stream directly to their pc. i assume you can still do that.

if that's too much and you want to do it legally your other two options would seem to be make friends with someone that has directv or go to a sports bar that has some decent drink specials on sundays and don't spend too much.

i found a giants bar locally and that has been a lot of fun to go watch games. everyone is a long island/NYC import and if you are wearing a giants jersey, they'll treat you like you are their best friend. there's also like 4-5 clones of the yankeesdouche.gif guy there who are pretty funny, although one of them threw a glass bottle at the wall after the deseanmiracle.gif last year.

Thinking about it a bit more... I'll get a few lions games randomly if they're actually good. I'm gonna be in michigan for 3-4 michigan games so I can catch the lions pretty easily then too.

Not gonna pay 350 for sunday ticket.

Watching Lobster Wars, some deckhand just made $8.56 on top of a $300 advance after going out Lobsterin' for 9 days. God I would just kill myself.

****, now Tuna Wranglers is on. They keep bluefin tuna in these massive net/pen things in the ocean and if a shark gets in they have to go dive and wrestle it out. This is awesome.

Hope people don't mind if a give a little plug for an organization I've done a little research work with locally.

The Homeless World Cup is taking place with 64 nations in Paris this week and all the matches will be aired on their website. Although it might sound a little humorous, its a pretty neat sport for development initiative that is starting to gain some traction. For the people that have netflix streaming, they did a excellent documentary on a previous cup called Kicking It.

And yes, the homeless US team isn't much better then the professional US team.

I'm a fan too -- I drafted one of their albums -- and I agree in that many people, especially music critics, say RH is good simply because it's "cool" to like them. This happens w/ other bands as well, but I think of all active bands (who aren't approaching senescence) RH is probably #1 on the bandwagon-caused-overratedness scale.

I never understood this. Does anyone over the age of 16 really think like this, especially paid professionals?

A lot of critics really are morons, so it makes some sense.

RedZone is only $30 for the whole season here this year. I'm not sure that's the best $30 I'll ever spend but it's in the conversation. With it I have literally no use for the whole NFL package, just put it on and put the remote down for seven hours.

Another words (sic), if I was Dr. Ikes that's what I would look into.

yeah this sounds like a good idea.

The moment I get accepted into med school i want a username change. My tuition won't be as much as karak's though.

Again, if you just call DirecTV and ask they will likely chop 50% of the cost of Sunday Ticket off your bill if you sign up for a year, even with a non-premium package (yes I realize this does not apply to Ikes).

Even at $300 it's beyond worth it in my opinion, I mean it means guaranteed enjoyment of 1/7 days for a third of the year, but that's just me.

It's crazy that med school costs more than become someone's bitch school, one is useful the other barely so in limited circumstances.

Well, i'm not sure how karak's school really works, but a ton of medical schools operate on a pretty large deficit and are supported by the state or a large endowment.

Residency programs lose money too... that's why there is a huge shortage of doctors.

I'm sure Karak's 225k/year law school is making plenty of money.
