Suffice to say music in Vegas is the nut low, ofc
As a Euro travelling around the States I have always found the quality of music to get steadily worse as you go west from, say, Boston to Vegas in terms of the background noise that is radio stations, music in bars, etc. Obviously there are notable pockets that buck this trend.
But, needless to say, it's a very subjective and personal thing. No doubt there are people who grimace every time they walk into a "trendy" coffee shop on the East Coast and are subjected once again to some guitar based indie type stuff. Each to his own.
