Euchre is def 99% luck once you have bidding sort of figured out. So is skip-bo.

Pitch is so much more fun though. But nobody outside the midwest that I know has ever heard of pitch. GOAT holiday family gathering game for sure. (also pretty luck-based but who cares)

You certainly can drink during the experience. Drunk euchre usually means epic alone hands and loltastic steals/euchres. Always good for the game.

Probably not too different from backgammon, no doubt more luck but you out-roll or out-card someone there's only so much that skill can overcome.

i'll trust your'e right, I haven't played like a **** ton of euchre. but online euchre sounds not fun at all, I always enjoyed it for a large part for the time spent with friends
