meh. simpsons seasons 3-8 is better than anything SP. considering both series on balance though I could buy giving SP a slight edge

Meh, anyone who uses more than one > when comparing those 3 shows is trying too hard imo. All are great, clearly one could prefer any of them over the others, but the difference between any of them is not >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any of the others.

Also, the first seven seasons of the Simpsons seriously belong in GOAT. South Park is great, but it becomes inconsistent and occasionally preachy/lazy (or just plain gross, and not funny-gross). That said, the Simpsons have sucked for like a decade.
