So i guess jetto is a cancer to all sports even though he doesn't post football, baseball, and has made less than 5 hockey posts all year iirc.

i don't venture much into baseball threads, so i don't know what he's done this season, but as a casualTexasRangerfan, i followed the playoff threads last season, and he was an obnoxious yankee homer/troll.

Jetto is what you make of him. If you spend days and weeks discussing whether or not he is a good poster, then you have made him a problem. If he was so obviously a problem, it wouldn't be necessary to discuss it every day and he would just be shipped out.

I see that the fundamental problem is that he has drawn notoriety from making simplistic, obvious comments. It worked for John Madden. Would you ban him? (actually, he probably would be, but I digress)

Once others have pointed out this "flaw" in Jetto's posting style, he has captured to moment, so to speak, and has made his posts to conform with that style intentionally.

In any event, assuming he's not a gimmick account, he's harmless and its kinda nice to see one of his posts in the middle of the usual uber-serious sports discussion.

Those stick figure family decals on the rear window of cars/vans tilt the heck out of me for no good reason. Especially if there's an animal stick figure.

how bout the ones with the names of the kids on them?

maybe i'm being super paranoid nancy-pants, but if i were a parent, i wouldn't be broadcasting my family out to every goddamn skeez bucket i pass on my way to the liquor store.

Tuq might deserve a higher rating because even though he's often terrible he seems to be aware of it and enjoys it. I respect that.

So Clarknasty wasn't being a jackass when he was relentlessly trolling Jetto for no rhyme or reason? Jetto isn't bothering anyone or this forum and the fact this argument continues to come up is beyond ******ed. Double standards and mods playing favorites everywhere afaict.

I don't think they tilt me as much as baffle me. Why in the world 1) do you want to broadcast your family size possibly including pets to everyone who drives behind you and 2) more confusingly, what makes you think these random strangers would care. Try walking up to people on the street and saying "I have a wife, three kids, and a dog" all day unsolicited and see how that goes. The window sticker is less intrusive but more or less the same thing.

The other one I noticed this morning that is equally baffling are the large CLUB TATTOO window stickers. Like, why? Maybe if I didn't think most tattoos were massively ******ed this wouldn't confuse me but like...you have tattoos, why do you need a window sticker to announce this?

Don't recall the discussion. Been a lot of discussions and been busy. Recently with all the drama, I tend to respond with (paraphrasing) "prefer not to permaban, but at this point, whatever".
