The last couple pages in this thread are full of people saying that the ban is dumb, Jetto is harmless, etc. Bobbo is the one person who said he thinks he should be banned.

Frankly, it just underscores the point: people who take this **** way too seriously are the ones who think Jetto is an issue

I can't tell if you're being serious or if you actually think there is some weird conspiracy. But it's kind of a moot point. I've been somewhat busy lately taking care of some personal stuff and the farther I get away from the forum the more apparent it becomes that stuff like this is an epic waste of time.

It's not really something I wish to continue to debate. Discuss sports and if you suck excessively or troll you may get banned. There's your rules. If you have a problem with them please leave. The overwhelming majority of posters really do seem to want to discuss sports in earnest without picking fights so obviously they really don't have anything to worry about. The small but vocal minority of you who spend inordinate amounts of time and posts trying to annoy and poke bears and make this place generally less enjoyable for others can do so at your own peril.

Nothing inconsistent about my position. I don't take this too seriously, I just don't want the forum turning into the mods banning who they don't like. They should be banning people who go Derrick Rose on the forum. Jetto is not one of those posters.

If you can stop and think about it for a second, yes you do. We all take it too seriously all things considered but this is like the world's stupidest argument to be having at 1:30 EDT on a Thursday morning.

The only reason I'm even participating in this argument is because the same stupid argument comes up every two weeks. I've shared my feelings privately so as to stay out of the pissing matches. But you know why these arguments come up every two weeks? Because the modding in SE has been flat out terriblel lately. kbfc was 100% right with his censorship rant months ago

I agree with kbfc's modding beliefs, but part of why stuff has been bad latey is due to a lack of modding not too much. Lines become blurry and then when there's action everyone cries foul for stuff that they'd have agreed with had moddding been more proactive all along.
