I'd say for every ban made publicly known, there's probably 4-5 where that isn't the case. How exactly can you prove me wrong on this? You can't. Plus, there is actual value to pointing out some bans, 1) that reports have been responded to and action taken, and 2) to show people that certain things aren't allowed.

Many times, in order to avoid the grandstanding to which you allege and avoid disruption, I'll just send a PM to someone letting them know a situation has been handled.

But of course you don't care about any reasoned explanation, you're just trolling and contributing nothing as is your standard.

iyam, you can't ban someone for trolling once, or twice, or five times, or twenty times. it's when it's a continued practice to intentionally annoy/make mad people who aren't in your clique - and that person is continually warned about that behavior and continues to do it. that's what should get a person the heave-ho.
