I have no recollection of this whatsoever. Names were floated but I don't remember specifically shooting down or otherwise making fun of the idea. It makes sense, but if there isn't a sufficiently "qualified" person then it doesn't seem like a great idea.

FWIW I think that JaredL, the other person who was most closely recommended, is in Oregon. Certainly if you felt passionately enough about this Euro thing you had all sorts of time. It's me who basically initiates and pushes these ideas until a sufficient consensus is reached.

I think I'll pretty much defer to Sethy on EPL modding. Maybe get more into it as the situation dictates, and certainly more [footy modding] towards World Cup time (because I assume the forum will be very busy with footy talk). Until then I'll probably have enough "LOL Hoc-key?" stuff to deal with as the playoffs approach.
