when was the last time victor made money playing poker on the internet? i mean i think one of us was very mad and is right now quite happy.

i might lose $500 if they freeze the accounts before my withdrawal goes through. i guess i'm a little upset about that. but i'm not mad. this doesn't really affect me.

i'm just grossed out by the behavior of some haters that may or may not use skype a whole lot.

its been about 2.5 yrs. yet he hasnt had a job and doesnt necessarily feel motivated to seek one yet. hmm, wonder how such a losing busto player can persevere in such fashion.

perhaps you are right, vic. maybe i was being unfair when i judged you. so i will present the facts as i see them:

there is a thread on the most popular poker forum on the internet about how internet poker is getting shut down, at least in the us. this thread is obv being read by many internet poker players, many of whom are concerned about losing their livelihood and possibly a bunch of money.

so a bunch of guys who don't or no longer make a living playing poker basically run through the thread yelling "you lost your jobs! lol!"

is that unfair, victor? please correct me if i'm wrong and i will apologize.

what if some of them can’t play poker again until after they’ve lost their house/apt and car and maybe other stuff? what if some of them have families that depend on that money? or does that make it even more hilarious? jfc. if you guys want to laugh it up on skype that’s one thing but trolling that thread makes you some of the biggest haters on 2+2.

I'm not bitter about that. I'm glad I found that out a long time ago and have since moved on with my life. A lot of the people so devastated right now were probably even done a favor since most of the posters on this forum are delusional about whether or not they can "make it as a pro" and even more delusional about how awful that life might be unless they achieve the highest of successes.

It's more about me just generally taking pleasure in the misfortunes of others and not so much about bitterness. This is a fairly common human characteristic afaik.
