sigh. i don't know why i am bothering to explain since tuq just basically did it for me, but i game narrate all the time in the yankees thread. the difference is that often i am trying to be funny, or doing some fun trolling, or both. sometimes i will post what just happened. i don't think posters in the yankees thread hate what i post, but maybe you should ask them?

there is a continuum of content on internet forums/comment sections. SE in general maintains a very good signal:noise ratio (except in NFL gameday threads, those are just a disaster). the mods are trying to keep it that way.

Jetto seems very harmless, regardless of whether or not he is a gimmick.

Even when he goes after someone or has a feud it is pretty mild.

I'm beginning to think that Jetto just does his "game blogging" in his own manner and it provides a chain reaction, messing up that ratio. I agree with mjw, the problem might lie in that reaction, and we should attempt to curb those types of posts (which might be an encouragement for him to keep posting like he does, if he is indeed a gimmick).

Anyway, Jetto should prob stick to NBA posting. Seems he wasn't even mentioned with ban til he started posting here and PMing people and so forth. I think all his intentions are either completely harmless or playful. Dude just likes to watch sports and comment on the obvious things happening in them. Passionately

I think if Tuq thinks someone sucks they almost always suck, but it's more about his high threshold for suck than him having goat suck radar (sounds like something Karak might have picked up in all those highway rest stops).

Although you dont like KKC so you should definitely continue deferring to Tuq.

The reason I think jetto is awesome is not because of his casual fan perspective, but his complete refusal to acknowledge people trolling him and his posting style.

IMO, gimmick or not, he seems to be a genuinely nice guy that does not provide in depth analysis that some other posters do. If you want to ban him for sucking(which has precedence) then ban him. There is no need to troll him.

That's unfair, AJ Burnett was good and has lots of talent.
