Oh, and in before Franchise thinks "edict" and "intellectual" are some of those "big fancy law words" and ends up getting hammered before 5.

because banning 1 person is better than banning 20. he contributes ONLY noise. this is an internet sports forum - if we let 20 jettos in here, the place would be totally unreadable.

Either way, I don't understand why those posts really bother you either. It's not like it's an epidemic of page after page. Where do you draw the line? Is a page full of GREEAAARRRs acceptable but JETTOOOOS not?
of course you don't, because you're the one doing it. they bother me because they're more garbage i have to scroll past. they're more garbage everyone has to scroll past. i like the yankees thread, but if jetto's gonna have 4000 posts in there this season, i won't like the yankees thread. and even if i put him on ignore, which i really see no reason to do, that's not going to help.

fyi - i hate a page full of greears too, usually.

This entire thing just smacks of intellectual sports elitism, which is why I find it so bothersome.
there are tons of internet forums full of jettos. the reason i come here is because this one isn't.

triumph the thing i don't get is that I actually root for the NY Yin my posts. sometimes nutshot and jtg diss on Yankee players. I still thought AJ was going to get it right during the playoffs and I got it right for a game.

I understand nutshot and jtg are using reverse psychology becuase they actually want joba and AJ and the roster to succeed. but since I am not as big of a Yankee fan as triumph, K, jtg, nut, geoff an others I can say good things about them

The only real difference is that Clark likes Greear but not Jetto. Clark and co. trolling Jetto happens far more often than the stuff that is being complained about.

I find this line of thought rather irksome, actually. I don't think anyone should ever be excluded for (genuinely) lacking intelligent insight when what they are contributing isn't detrimental on its face at all.

Trying to clarify this before it is misinterpreted: I mean someone that isn't as "sports smart" as the norm.

People continually talking about other peoples posting style is the worst thing about SE. I can't believe it bothers people so much.

Why is Triumph pretending that this board is a haven for quality sports-related content when a casual search reveals posts like these:

whenever you start a post with "lol" and capitalize the first "l" like "Lol" it really angers me

except that's not what i was saying. one jetto is fine. 10 is not. do you understand how awful the yankees thread would be w/ 10 dudes posting like jetto? i would not read that thread or post in it.

lol @ dynimator - i was going to post that i occasionally game narrate just in case someone was going to search my posts, but i figured no one would do that - also two of those posts are not in SE so lol @ you

What is this, Obtuse Day? JFC you people aren't this stupid, well most of you aren't. Stop pretending you are.

There doesn't need to be a rule, it's not hard to figure out. Jetto posts a TON in SE, which is fine. It happens that many of those posts are casualfan.jpg, which is also fine. A lot of his posts are pretty obviously designed to get a reaction, which is also fairly common. Add it all up and it sucks and he is going to be incrementally banned if he doesn't start sucking less on the whole. The rest of you can come to this thread and ***** about it, which will give you something to do. But enough with the stupid mother ****ing "hurr durr you do it too here's some examples" because it makes you look like a idiot.

One thing I've learned. Tuq's radar for suck is the GOAT. If he disagrees with me (happens from time to time), it's a good sign I need to sit back and reflect upon my opinion.

Why do you game narrate if it doesn't provide any content? For a place that you'd prefer to be rife with informative material, wouldn't you want it devoid of such... "crap"?

I'm just curious as to what the difference is between game threads and Jetto-like posts. The two are similar, but one takes up much more room.

Agreed on the commonality, most of us are guilty of it. But I don't think Jetto is aiming to get a reaction, why do you think this is the case?

**Tuq, you can also get your points across in a much nicer manner.

Eliciting a response and this is not the same at all. I really don't understand how you could think that he intends this. It seems to me like he doesn't really care what other people think about his posts... he posts because he loves the NBA. It seems your issue is with people responding to him in a certain way. So take care of that. That's not necessarily Jetto's problem, and it's a pretty huge logical leap to suggest it is.
