I just switched to the S4 and its really pretty nice all around. Only caution is that if you have a large itunes library converting music is a massive headache.

Other than that everything about the phone is superior imo

I have a macbook and this didnt work at all. I had to go find a music converter that would convert songs in bulk and then go back and remove the DRM from about a thousand of them that I bought pre-2009 or whenever it was.

There may have since been an upgrade but just getting my s4 to connect to my macbook was in itself a huge pain, none of that kies stuff worked at all (cant remember what i'm using for this now)

dont you have to pay a subscription to use google music on your phone?

also i am getting an iphone for work. never had one before because i generally think people who use apple products suck but i already have a droid and will probably just use it to sync with my itunes. plus i can start a new puzzle and dragons game account

Android (specifically samsung) >> iphone imo.

Already been mentioned but the software and customization options on android are awesome to have.

No. The app is called "Play Music". Upload every music file using the Music Manager desktop app and it enters the cloud. Play Music plays from the cloud. Data rates apply if you don't have unlimited, but you can always download from the cloud to your device (tablet or phone) and play stuff offline.

Huh? SGS4 takes microUSB for its charger. Everyone who's not Apple uses that.

What sort of compatibility or convenience are you giving up if you switch from iPhone to s4? I don't have an iPad or any other apple products really and I feel like the only apple only feature I use is FaceTime maybe? And even so I barely use it.

For me iMessage is worth it because I can text people with Apple products off iPad over wireless so easily. That alone is a huge feature.

Plus iOS7 is pretty sweet.

i know i used music manager to put a bunch of stuff on google music a couple years ago. probably could figure this out but ill just wait to get my obamaphone and hook it up to itunes. then i wont be the only person on the bus to work not listening to music.

on a side note, yesterday there was a guy absolutely blasting one direction through his headphones. like i could hear it loud and clear from several rows back. i looked around a bit and gave a "seriously dude" before realizing i was the only one who could hear it since everyone else was plugged in.
