Why do you seem so defensive about a pathetic pog game anyway?

The point is being overly neurotic about threads is pretty dumb except in rare cases. If there isn't interest, then the thread just goes off the first page. The system works everything out for threads that sucks.

AJ you might just be the dumbest person on the planet sometimes. The point wasn't a POG game, it was you providing an example that wasn't applicable at all. What do you think we're all doing, just fuming at our keyboards because someone started a game thread a week in advance? Anyway, it's annoying having discussion split up even more especially when there's already division threads and double especially when it's week 2.

Well, since I started coming here we've always had a weekly thread, a weekly rankings thread, and conference-season threads. The season-long nongameday thread is new and I find it a bit unnecessary too, since nobody is posting actual analysis on gamedays, but as he says in the OP "the offseason thread is still getting bumped, so..."

But remember last year we had the realignment threads as well. Which was really great for hearing how SEers would arrange new superconferences, and how any other way was stupid and doomed to fail.
