Karak greatly sleeping on Honey Crisp in his Fantasy Apple Rankings.

It may not have the flash of Pink Lady or the name recognition of Granny Smith, but if you want quality production apple in, apple out, I'd want Honey Crisp on my team any day of the week.

raids was trolling extremely hard, and if he wasn't, he was an oblivious fool. i don't think he deserves a month, but certainly a day and a permanent exile from the BB thread is justified. it depends on whether or not he was warned.

Ya, i can see where youre coming from. Fwiw, i dont think ray really trolls, at least consciously; he just takes things way too seriously and has to get the last word in on any disagreement it seems. Your view of punishment seems much more fair than a whole month.

Thats actually a pretty good and funny comparison. I think ray most of the time posts well, but just way too aggressively and sanctimoniously at times. The latter is especially true in that BB thread. So ya, Nancy Grace is the same way, just 100% of the time.

That pretty much sums of my thoughts. I thought ray deserved some type of defense, though obviously not a full endorsement.

He does play quite well with the middle-aged woman demographic

Ray would be a plenty tolerable poster with just a simple change in mentality. A huge percentage of his posts are derisive one-liners without ever actually explaining what he thinks, why he thinks it, etc. which makes them just annoying, useless noise. If he didn't think of his posts as some intellectual puzzle for the self-deluding masses to interpret, he'd be fine. There also seems to be very little consistency to what he actually thinks other than "aggressive disagreement with consensus."

As is, I thought he got better for a couple months and has been back to peak RAIDSing over the last couple. Month off seems good for him and the forum. Clearly justifiable from body of work. "Don't post like a dickhead all the time" is a pretty useful rule.

The official worst SE poster of all time got banned?

Sounds like someone here knows what the hell they are doing.

I suspect you don't watch Breaking Bad but he RAIDSed up the thread something fierce, taking a wildly counterintuitive position and arguing it constantly. I'm not that familiar with him from SE, but yeah, one-liners where it's clear that the person is coming from a totally different angle than you but that leave you with nothing more than that knowledge are infuriating and forum poison.

I had just put him on ignore which I haven't done for anyone in years.

Why is Utah blank on that porn map? Is "Mormon Yeti porn" too big to fit in that font size?

I have a limited knowledge of this, but from what I understand many porn cam guys are just freelance camera guys that do all sorts of normal stuff looking for another check on an off day. They often do not credit themselves nor put it on a resume.

Depends on who you're giving a resume to. Nobody should care because camera skills are camera skills, but many people in LA are all about status even when hiring more blue-collar type film jobs.

Wow, a month is kind of a ******ed length if out of nowhere but can't really summon the energy to argue against it. No way he doesn't come back immediately under an alias though since posting nonstop 18/7 is pretty much all he seems to do.

How's the knee?

A little weird on nutrition lately. Have been IFing (skipping breakfast in favor of BCAAs) while reducing my 2 meal sizes. Result= added 5 pounds over the last month. Pants and belt size unchanged and I'm pretty sure my upper body musculature has been increasing. This despite the fact I've almost entirely stopped exercising since July 4th in favor of new addictions woodworking and metalworking (which admittedly get me sweaty enough). The metalworking is mainly just for making and refurbishing tools for the woodworking, which is essentially just a skillset I'm trying to develop to learn proper boat building. That is really just so I can build myself a great stand-up paddleboard, which is what I'd intended to make my new hobby; Paddleboarding.

If I keep adding weight through muscle, I'll need to change my paddleboard design (had sort of planned on losing weight, which was the whole point of IF). Really do not want to go through life looking like a linebacker again, either. A rock climber or swimmer body is so much more my style, if I must look athletic. Also my really nice clothes would fit.

Just bear in mind you need fat with your green veggies to absorb enough of the fat-soluble vitamins--coconut oil, high dha fish oil, and whole milkfat are my preferences. A healthy smoothie should have a nice oily sheen to it. Start with more fruits for taste, and gradually shift to more veggies. Even my wife who mostly hates raw vegetables has gotten to the point where she blends up a couple per day with greens in them.

While any Vitamix is expensive (even the refurbished on/off only switch version) the full-featured $800 version with speed knob, preset modes, pulse switch, and safety on/off button has been totally worth the extra cost to me. You don't actually have to be sure before you get it; factory 30 day return or, if you buy at Williams-Sonoma, 90 day return.

Just made an early Walmart run and almost ran into a cow being cornered by two dogs on the road at the bottom of a hill. Pecan tree had fallen (kinda frequent around here now do to the insane summer rainfall) and taken out the fence. All were black, which makes me think it was on purpose, somehow. A Mini hitting a cow...now those are some physics I can't quite picture. Not two days ago I decided to knock it off with the Jason Bourne driving since it had gotten to the point of unnecessary and overly impulsive risk-taking. Had I been chugging at 100, there's pretty much no way of avoiding a wreck right there.

Wife update: Entire local medical team now in agreement that proton radiation therapy technology offered at MD Andersen in Houston likely offers her a distinct advantage given the nature of her deep brain tumor. Here's a breakdown by college affiliation, bearing in mind we need a sniper and a clean kill:

UAB - shotgun
Faulkner State Community College - hangun
South Alabama - rifle with scope
Texas - rifle with scope and hollow-point exploding bullets

Looking to finalize plans today for initial visit to Houston in 3 weeks and hope to begin treatment immediately thereafter. Stroke recovery is ongoing seemingly endless sisyphian grind not unlike the baseball season. Have happily discovered a glass of wine at night allows her to sleep through the night without "night terrors" or cramping or phantom limb flareups (which pretty much lets me sleep through the night).

Occasional updates here.

Very low on 2+2 time recently, but vaguely plan to be active for college football. Would like to post the weekly game threads, as I really, really enjoy that little slice of creative expression and remember last year's Monday nights spent writing them as peaceful island oases in a sea of hell. Things are definitely much better now, even if I'm somehow more busy.

Hope you're all doing well.
Thanks, man. Good luck to you guys.

Get a Vitamix for sure, it's worth it. Juicing is stupid, you should eat (drink) the entire vegetable.

his writing style is very easy to identify. i'm sure he's reading this - if he avoids the BB thread he'll be safe. if not, he'll be gone in < 1 week.

Fruit too?

Still not sure I'm going to fully pursue it. I've read just enough to have totally confused myself about it.
