waiting for some water to boil to make some mac and cheese is for suckers, especially when really hungover. just putting the hottest water possible into the pot, throwing it on the stove and immediately putting the macaroni in saves like, 5 minutes. and now i'm eating delicious mac and cheese 5 minutes before i normally would have.

which also means i can go back to sleep 5 minutes before i would have been able to otherwise.
