dunno why it's taken me so long. we've been in this house for 3 years or so and the desktop/speakers have been collecting dust for probably a year before we bought it.

seeing that it's hooked up in the basement, which is basically our living room, we can put the volume at 100/100 and not only does it sound good (the basement seems to act like a sponge), you cannot literally hear anything outside (the basement seems to act like a sponge).

at first i was like, 'yeah this is awesome, but we'll only be able to really rock out every once in a while'....then i went outside while it was all the way up. both sides of the house i couldn't hear a thing.

pretty good times.

as i was trying to enter in cd track names, i realized i still need to run a cord to actually get on the internet. that means running a cable line from the 2nd floor down to the basement through the vents, but goddamn if as a male homeowner i can't figure that **** out..
Once when I was in Hawaii, on the island of Kauai, I met a mysterious old stranger. He said he was about to die and wanted to tell someone about the treasure. I said, "Okay, as long as it's not a long story. Some of us have a plane to catch, you know." He started telling his story, about the treasure and his life and all, and I thought: "This story isn't too long." But then, he kept going, and I started thinking, "Uh-oh, this story is getting long." But then the story was over, and I said to myself: "You know, that story wasn't too long after all." I forget what the story was about, but there was a good movie on the plane. It was a little long, though.

a-rod thread needs a title change as it appears to be factually incorrect

btw ESPN keeps showing Jadeveon Clowney and a teammate flipping a 2-person blocking sled in practice like he's Superman or something..... maybe find a different thing to marvel about? ffs kids on my high school team could do this all the time. I think a teammate and I did it before, and I had 0.18% of Clowney's upper body strength at the time.

Can someone who's more knowledgable about goalf than I inform me why Tiger chipped with his putter turned 90 degrees instead of being a non-weirdo?

Because the ball was back up against the longer cut of grass. Chipping with a wedge would be wildly inconsistent because you have no idea what sort of resistance the grass will offer and what kind of contact you'll make. More often though you'll see players intentionally blade a wedge or make a small stroke with a hybrid club there, guess Tiger was more comfortable with the side-putter chip. (I gotta admit I've never seen that play before)

If the BART people really wanted to bring SF to its knees they'd team up with the fast food workers and strike at the same time. Then again maybe ff workers already get $15/hr there?

Yes...but the real answer is because he's up by 8 strokes, he's wearing a red shirt and he's Tigah.
