I heard a lot of swimmers as well shave their legs and arms before competitions. Fairly common practice.

so now the cat has no appetite and still wont shut up and has actually lost weight and i'm thinking a big vet bill is probably in our future

I can only get her to drink out the bottom of a straw and where she used to jump long distances to annoy me now she can barely walk

Yeah whenever I get a pet I just really really hope they're super old before they start getting sick. The idea of trying to put a price on saving something you're attached to just sucks. Unless it's a human.
