Pro sports can be pretty fun tailgating if the stadium or field or whatever is actually in the city with good things around to do. Stuff like Arlington ****ing sucks.

10 hours away from driving the wife to Birmingham for Gamma Knife consultations, her PT does evaluation today and somehow she tests weaker than last month. Goddamit, she can't sleep if she's upset and she's a wreck if she doesn't get sleep...

She don't like chocolate, already have flowers at home, no time to watch a funny movie or anything when I get home, and at 97 degrees with 90% humidity she really can't go for a power walk today to de-stress, either.

If I cancel the appt, it'll be a month until we can see these specialists. Hate to say it, and her doc may not be happy about this, but this may be a job for alcohol. Not sure she'll even go for that at this point...
