Been to one PGA event, thoroughly unimpressed with the live golf viewing experience. Worst sporting event to watch live and its not even close

Key to watch live golf is to go to the Wednesday practice round.

Though posting up at a key hole for a Sunday major while watching a stream on your tablet or something has to be pretty sweet

I'm probably just spiteful because I've been a Cubs fan and thus lose interest after June when they're basically out of the playoff race every year. I love the gameday atmosphere of college games. Iowa City on gameday is pretty awesome. NBA is next bc I love me some bball.

My mistake was being somewhere in the crowd behind this shot instead of up near the green. All you get from the fairway is a guy swinging a club and then having to judge from the roar of the crowd whether it was a good shot or not

Gone to the Shell Houston Open the last 3 years and absolutely love it. Watching golf live is pretty awesome.

Stood 10 feet away from Rory McIlroy this year while he hit like a 150 yard approach shot from the rough. Was impressive. We even made eye contact and had a moment there.

Watching baseball live is elite. I don't even drink at the games because I'm not spending $27.50 on a watered-down pissbeer.

But if you don't enter a stadium and smell the peanut dust and popcorn in the air and hear the crack of the bat at batting practice and the deep voice of the stadium announcer and instantly get a rock-hard bone then I feel like the terrorists have won.

I can understand why people prefer NFL or MLB to NBA even if I disagree. Its a preference thing. But anyone who prefers a college sport to NBA will get laughed at by me.

Modern NBA seems like the perfect SE sport. Long enough season to warrant significant sample. Imperfect but compelling statistical systems that gauge individual performance. A CBA that allows speculation and creativity. Coaching decisions that create criticism and strong opinion. Dramatic postseason and areal GOAT candidate with a strong future cast.
