I played a little basketball with my kid cousin a couple of weeks ago; it seems during the 15 year hiatus, I've pretty much forgotten everything I ever knew about basketball except how to foul and how to be tall. It was all I could do to force a scoreless tie, as the airballs were hapening even on attempted layups. Next time I think I'll try bumping and setting the ball toward the hoop.
HOW DO YOU NOT IMMEDIATELY FACEPLANT OR SHUFFLE BACKWARDS??
ETA: i was just smashing buttons in some pattern and slid in like a baseball slide 0.1m at a time up to like 16m and got tired of doing it because it took me like 5 minutes
gotta do it by running legit. key is to keep momentum forward and the strides going.
a quick o-w (not simultaneous) on the first stride is good. then you want to get going with quick pushes of p-q o-w. if you are getting too far forward have to push both at once. too far back and put more time between the p and o's.
