theres is that biggie line "Since it's on, I call my ni.gga Arizona Ron
From Tuscon, pushed the black Yukon"

which is "translated" to white on some web site as: "The robbery is on. Biggie rings up his buddy Arizona Ron, from Tuscon who drives a black GMC Yukon SUV, which is so typically Arizona"

anyways i thought marlo nailed this

and of course the you want it one way but its the other way

Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, U2 before they went farcical, Van Halen with David Lee Roth, and the Rolling Stones were mercifully absent. Seems like good times, but I'm pretty sure there was a lot of terrible stuff that was popular too.

It's quite likely MTV was a net negative for music in the decade, but it was possibly the first time the country has had a nearly unified playlist and that was pretty cool. They mostly played music that decade.

he said -10% of report marks at worst. im gonna contest it anyway.
It would be a pretty big coincidence to come up with a paper similar enough to be flagged for plagiarism. Did you follow the structure of another paper at all or did you legitimately write from scratch?
What was the length of the paper? If it's a short paper on a specific topic, I could see this happening.
If the source of the "plagiarism" is readily available from a google search, that's probably a point against you. I'd ask to look at the paper you supposedly plagiarised.

Luckily in HS, my HS didn't have this tech. Everything I did in college was legit, though.

I thought you were british?

Because every Brit I know would have already run everything the prof. has ever written through a similar algorithm and would be walking in *begging* for her to be attempting a bollocking.

Sometimes the best defense is a good offense (pretty much every time), yo.

He has some good lines because the writing for that show is damn good, its mostly the actor who I have a problem with. The Marlo role had the potential to be all time great but his wooden delivery is just sooooo offputting compared to how strong that cast is.

I imagine it could have been very similar to Anton CHigurh in No Country For Old Men if they had better casting in that role.

Belmont coverage just called in their "special analyst", Randy Moss. Awesome, right? Butnah! It's just some bald white guy who evidently knows horses.

Thought this show was about to get insanely good...

It's possible there is a match without intentional plagiarism. Judging by what the tutor said, it doesn't seem a huge deal but I would still contest it. gl

I mean, the point of a lit report is to summarise and then critique recent publications on your assigned topic, so a good deal of the report is taken up with a description of the methods & conclusions of a load of papers. The gist of what you're talking about is necessarily going to be found in the literature.

Maybe they consider a direct quotation of an experimental method as plagiarism, even if its presented as such and properly referenced. For example,

Quote:
all runs were done at 23° to 25°C and 1 atm of N2, by dropwise addition with constant stirring of 10.0 mL of a solution of CrCp* 2 in heptane (36 equivalents relative to Mo) etc..
That was lifted straight from the paper in question so would've been flagged by the program, but lol if it counts as plagiarism.

Randy Moss also does some reporting for the NFL Network. Seen him on there plenty of times. They totally tricked me one day when he was reporting from Minnesota. They were like "Randy Moss reporting in Minnesota again.." and I thought that meant Moss showed up at camp or something butnahhhh baldy McWASPerson with a big smile on his face talking about Jim Kleinsasser's knee or something.

We had to run everything through turnitin.com whichever basically showed you what parts were questionable and then u could change things if need be. I never had to change anything but I'm surprised all schools don't use it or a similar paper analyzing program

Funny story about Audrey Hepburn's famous black dress in the Breakfast at Tiffany's movie poster. The studio hired some famous designer to make a dress for her. They told her "Ms. Hepburn" would arrive... well she thought this meant Katharine Hepburn. So Audrey, the lesser star, and unknown to this designer, shows up and the designer throws a little fit because she thought she landed Katharine as a sick client. So after cooling off she looks at Audrey and determines she can do something for her and boom, rest is history. One of the most famous photos in film history.

REM is one of my all time faves but that's not what I think of when I think "80s".

This is as LDO as it gets.

The 80s had Bad and Thriller. The pop music by decade contest pretty much ends there.
