I wear a lot of pink normally and wore a pink tie to a wedding like three weeks ago. Why is it inappropriate? It's a spring wedding.

Pink is people specific. Doesn't work for me. I also think it works better as a group thing or a groom thing. But, as already mentioned, I guess it's not a funeral and is certainly better than red/dark purple.

We are talking about like a solid red button down, right? That's super lol, and I can't see a reason for owning one unless it's part of a uniform or something. Not a fan of solid color button downs to begin with especially if they are darker shirts. Big fan of lighter purple/lavender, though. And girls really enjoy these colors, too.

I wore a tie this past Friday (engagement party), for thd first time in a long time. Just decided to switch it up.

Lavender is a 2011/2012 thing IMO.
Plain red shirt is a no.
I think the red shirt below (checkered) is boss:

Shirt resembles a tablecloth, gotta rock some uniqlo if you're going bold

On the topic of boat shoes I used to rock Sperrys nonstop until they inevitably got beat to **** in <1 year. Got some Sebagos a while back and they hold up great and are more comfortable than Sperrys too. Would definitely buy again.

I have a pair of Sebagos and I find them to be clunky and don't fit my feet nearly as well as Sperrys.
