Yes do not wear red Jesus christ. Same can be said for all year round. Red dress shirt is almost always clown shoes.

Purple is pretty bad in the summer, assuming actual dark purple as opposed to lavender. Not really a fan of lavender either, unless you've got a dark complexion.
