Queen here (wait...that doesn't sound right), mainly because King would be a little too big for the room. I don't have a fancy, new-fangled house with a gigantic master suite. It's not bad - my wife is only 5-foot-nothing, though she does tend to sprawl. My dog is little, too. I'm way too considerate of a sleeper, though. If my dog is in the way of my ability to stretch out, I just try to fit around her.

My problem right now is I have some sort of leg problem (seeing the doctor Thursday) and it's impossible to get comfortable. It is not good when laying or sitting offers little relief.

Queen is fine unless you or your wife is an ogre. Had a full for the first 4 or so years and even spent a few nights sharing a twin when she had an internship for ~3 months and that's what came with the furnished apartment. (i slept there only a couple nights a week so its not like it was all the time)

cannot stand not sleeping in a king. its worth having even if it takes up the whole room imo.

I got a queen size bed and it seems small for me just by myself and I'm only 6'2". Cant imagine sharing anything less than a king size nightly.

I'm nowhere near royalty. I'm a crass, Oregonian savage. Doesn't change the fact that a queen bed seems a little small for a couple.

Yeah I'd prefer a bigger bed just for myself. Is a queen bed generally considered big enough for a couple? Seems like the average height in SE is over 6' so I'd be surprised if that's the opinion.

A queen sized bed is not big enough to share with a person. I am down in Mexico right now and my GF came to visit. My room has a queen sized bed and sharing the bed sucked. She complained she had no room when I was using like 16 inches of space. I need to get back to the US and get my King sized bed back. I just can't see any reason to not have as much space as possible in a place you spend 25-33% of your life.

On another note. Ate a cow intestine taco tonight. It was rather tasty. The texture was interesting. Some parts were crunchy and others were overly chewy. Reminded me of some octopus or something almost. Would eat again tho.

Well they're both 80 inches long, so unless you're so tall you need to sleep at an angle it doesn't matter.

King or queen doesn't matter as the gf will just push me to the one side and leave a majority of the bed unused either way. I sleep real well just on the edge of the bed though, and only used that bit even when single.

Quality mattress is well worth every penny, though.
