I am not sure what type of league this is being discussed, but it sounds awesome.

On February 18, 1960, Rickey and Cooke announced an opening date of April 18, 1961, and said that Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Atlanta would host the teams from Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York, Toronto and Buffalo. [1]
Sounds vaguely like the league Jack Kerouac made up when he was a kid. Invented players, wrote up their bios, and worked them into mlb games and stat battles, while writing game descriptions as well.

finally beating the facility fast enough to get the cheat on 00 Agent was my GOAT video game accomplishment

Completing Facility in that time was so satisfying. It all rests on the doctor. The only cheat I couldn't get was Caverns 00 Agent in under 9.30. Paid someone at school to do it for me.

People may have differing opinions, but I have FF 3/6 way way ahead of 2/4. Just a way better world map, magic system, extra explorable stuff, and storyline.

This game was awesome. I had a season/franchise/dynasty whatever it was called, and one day my save file corrupted and ALL THE PLAYERS IN THE WHOLE LEAGUE turned into...

Nah not really, but Genesis did have some awesome games. I still go back and play some roms fairly frequently for both systems.

I'm sorry, I'm generally a nice person but the people who stand on city corners and aggressively try to get you to stop and talk to them about some charity are the WOAT and I hope they die.

Proximity mines were megaelite, unless you had to play with that one douche kid that no one likes but your parents forced you to include him because he has no friends

The key there is "aggressively"; just soliciting random passersby is annoying, but tolerable.

Thought 3/6 was considered one of the GOATs? My only SNES experience was playing 3/6 and Chrono Trigger on an emulator like 10+ years ago, was a very satisfying one though.

FF6's 2nd half is fairly open which is awesome. I really enjoyed it, I don't think its Chrono Trigger level but it's really good. I have it #6 on an RPG list behind Xenogears, Suikoden 2, FF9, Chrono Trigger, FFT. (PSOne really just blew away every other system with the RPG market).

As far as Genesis I also forgot these two gems:

Shining Force 1 and 2 are so good. Comix Zone also super underrated.

Saturn might be the most underrated system of all time. So, so many good games but apparently was pretty hard to develop for and Sony also entered the market as a major competitor.
