The Place Beyond the Pines is quite good. Bunch of really good performances. Very similar to Drive.

Legit still blacked out and being forced to chase moonshine with a beer funnel before boarding the bus. Guess this is what getting hazed feels like.

No, I just thought the movie sucked and his performance way overrated is all. I hope you at least think of me as levelling rather than hipster. I know I think you basically have to level yourself to find that movie "perfect".

Yeah, really liked it. Very unexpected. The first hour is the movie you expected from the trailer and then it goes in a completely different direction.

Kinda the same thing here. Only superhero I liked growing up was batman so I watch those movies. Haven't seen any of the Spider-Man, X-men and other superhero movies. Haven't seen all the Star Wars movies either.

Did see Kick Ass and that movie is awesome

lol who hates all comic book movies

what a goddamn weirdo

also BREW AT THE ZOO is one of the most elite events of the year

my group of friends makes a night of it every year on memorial day

Atlanta Zoo closes around 5 and a ton of vendors and restaurants come in and set up booths. You buy a all-you-can-drink type pass and hit up the different micro brewery booths and walk around the zoo. Closes around 9 or 10. It's a blast.

Not gonna be in town this year for it and already bummed

Not only do they apparently have a really good case that could completely blow up the NCAA, they have top-notch people:

Quote:
The phalanx of plaintiffs' attorneys is led Michael Hausfeld of Hausfeld LLP. Hausfeld has represented Native Americans in Alaska against Exxon after the Valdez spill, Holocaust victims against Swiss banks who kept their assets after World War II and consumers in the European Union's antitrust case against Microsoft. The plaintiffs also are working with Ken Feinberg, who has organized distribution plans for financial settlements for 9/11 victims, those effected by the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, victims of the Aurora, Colo., theater shootings and sexual abuse victims of former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky.
If they get class action status, look out.

There was a post office clerk who was sexually assaulted behind our local post office (yay, great place to live) last week. Question: does sexual assault always mean rape? Maybe Karak can weigh in here.

Yeah, I've been following it piecemeal for while. It's difficult to describe the NCAA's approach to these hearings without using the word "stupefying" in every aspect, including talking to the media about how the case is going and talking among themselves about exploiting student-athletes prior to and during the case. They're probably going to have to get an anti-trust exemption in order to remain a going concern.

I just put a book on my reading list about how people with the worst judgement are also the ones with the greatest confidence in their judgement. I can't help but think this will be a prime example in a future version. It's like they just don't believe a court will rule against them no matter what.

Depends where you are, but sexual assault can cover sexual touching that doesn't involve penetration.
