- maybe maximizing ticket revenue isn't the goal
- fans don't like it when the section right next to them sells at a discount and they bought at face
- if you cut prices across the board the demand curve might not be as elastic as you thought it was

I think its mostly this. I'm pretty sure I'd go to exactly as many Padres games if the tickets were free or like $5 as I do currently (a few games a year) and I only live a few blocks from the stadium (so theoretically I should be among the most price elastic consumers). At some price point (prob like ~$15 and under) the cost of the ticket becomes a pretty negligible part of the cost of the overall experience. Offering $5 tickets isn't gonna help you sell out if parking is still $30 and hot dogs are still $7 and beers are still $10.

It is strange. I've never liked the night life here. Plenty of strip clubs tho. There are a ton of upscale yuppie lounges but just not a whole lot of sports bar type places for young guys who aren't yet arrogant and ****.

I went to high school with a Mexican guy named Adolf.

He rocked an inverted Hitler 'stache to make it clear he was not at all like Hitler. By inverted I mean he had a full 'stache and shaved the small square portion just below his nose, leaving two separated min-'staches.
