A-Rod's Cousin, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

^error message when clicking on OOT.

So I was basically kicked out for being attacked for not owning an HD TV. Either that or my "jackin' seed" comment. Or just a lifetime award for sucking.

That's the message you get when you are exiled via the software from a forum.

Well that sucks.

What does "jackin' seed" mean?

Also, just how mad about HDTVs did you get?

killa is a bitchass who types like a 7 year old girl. **** that guy.

The whole Alobar thing was stupid. We got in a little spat in a thread and he came at me with OOT's equivalent of "HU4ROLLZ!?" which is a proposition for survivor. Of course I didn't go for it because no way I can beat him and I never brought up survivor.

So basically if you call out a BIG OAK in OOT for posting something stupid (not to mention a green that you can't ignore nonetheless) they'll challenge you to a survivor, then the admin will just say "Nah, you'd crush him, I'll just exile that guy."

Nice forum.

-The TV I watch sports on isn't my 26"er. It's a 20" rounded screen TV that is 19" deep and not HD. TV dates to circa 2003. This is the TV in my sweet ass "man cave". The huge 26" TV is in the living room but my computer is in the MAN CAVE so I watch that TV in there while I GDT post.

-I can tell the difference. I never said I cannot tell the difference. Only an idiot would make that claim and we all know I am not one of those.

-I'm starting to find it more odd that so many people cannot comprehend how a non HD TV is POSSIBLY watchable. I think you guys are the weirdos. Like, how spoiled can you possibly be? You grew up with this, it should always look relatively "normal" to you.

-We've got an old 1982 TV that still works just fine. It's in one of our extra rooms and I've got a working Nintendo and Super Nintendo hooked up to it. You step into that room and you are immediately transported back to the '80s. Complete with my Michael J. Fox poster on the wall. OK that last part is untrue.

-TVs don't just stop working because the image quality isn't absolutely current.

-Another thing I do that is frugal is I cut my yard with a reel lawnmower. Push that ****er and use no gas and get a decent workout while SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT YO.

-I went several months with no TV and no internet in 2003 in my apartment and survived just fine doing crossword puzzles and beating peen to VHS pr0n tapes. The TV listed at the top of this post from 2003 was the TV I bought when I finally decided to replace the TV I had that broke.

-A lot of these things I don't do because I'm frugal. I'm just labeled as "frugal" because I do them. Mostly I just don't care for the premium version of a lawnmower or television or car. If I had to go through life forced to always have nice things or new technology I think that would suck. I just got a smart phone last year and only because we were having a baby and I wanted the security of having a portable internet. I always get the free phones when I upgrade.

I'm a bit of a beer snob and only tend to buy "quality" beer. I think there is a huge difference and I'm willing to pay for it.

I play a pretty good amount of golf which is not a cheap sport.

I play ice hockey which is expensive.

I eat at restaurants way too often. Huge leak in my game. And when my wife cooks it's usually steak or salmon or something. We waste a lot of money on good food.

Wife and I spend on vacations and getaways to B&Bs and things like that.

Own musical instruments like guitars and keyboard and planning on adding a bass soon.

Drop plenty of money on our dog. Spent $800 to get her trained when we got her. Take her to a fairly expensive vet (Andy Pettitte uses the same one) and always get her the good medicine and toys and stuff. And when they found a lump in her chest and said it "probably isn't cancer" I snap said do the surgery which was $600.

I could have gambled on my dog's life and gotten a sweet ass TV instead.

Your infatuation with my financial situation is odd. I'm not rich by any means but I'd have to literally light tens of thousands of dollars in net worth on fire to get to broke. Especially since the market has rebounded quite nicely since 2008.

Project much? You must be broke as hell. Some "entrepreneur" who works 120 hour weeks and rakes in minimum wage while financing sweet cars and toys and gadgets to impress potential clients/customers. Have fun with that. Stop attacking people who have money.

NLS, yeah that's what I use. My yard is very small though. And my backyard I cut less frequently so when I do go to cut it that reel mower doesn't do **** so I just cut the entire backyard with an electric trimmer. lol. The front I want to look level though so I cut it regularly with the reel mower.

My parents hired a lawn service and gave me their old lawnmower but that ****ing thing started emitting blue smoke after like the third usage so I never used it again. It just sits in my garage.

Also the hockey stuff makes me scratch my head. If you have watched more than like 5 games of hockey in your life you should be able to know where the puck is just based on game context. Like, when you see someone cross the red line and dump it in it's pretty obvious to look in the opposite corner because the puck will end up there. Even if you don't see the little black dot you should be able to know who has the puck at all times based on player movements.

I'm not intending to "brag" about any of this. But when that guy called me out for spending more money on TVs than my car I thought it was too funny since he couldn't possibly have made a worse read. I bet he's an elite poker player.

It takes all of 5 minutes to pull the reel mower out of my garage and do a once-over of the front lawn and be done with it. I don't even have to pull my cars out of the garage to access the circa 1946 equipment.

Dunno about undisputed but it's pretty goddamned good. The incredibly awesome Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC) which ABC later lamely copycatted as Wipeout had some sort of Plinko game too, using a giant board. I think there was a person at the bottom trying to catch the ball in a bucket but they couldn't see it very well and more often than not they would fall and faceplant in the mud. Good times. Sometimes that person's last name was Babaganoush since every ep featured at least one person with that name.
