I put in a lot of time during the winter, plus, today was my 7th game of this very early season. I feel warmed up and am hoping this wasn't just a fluke 82. I don't feel like it was, but we'll find out.

I played a super short (like 5900 yards) course a few weeks ago. First time I picked up a club in 6 months and only my 4th round in 2 years. Hit more drives into the wrong fairway than the right one, but managed to shoot 84.

5900 yards? Was it a par 72?

1) All 5 of my televisions have lasted 10+ years and I didn't spend an inflation-adjusted $500 on any of them.

2) Most people who buy sick TVs will replace them wayyy sooner than 10 years. The way you guys talk about TVs I figure you probably throw them to the curb after 2 years because they are useless.

3) LOL @ hating on playing golf. If you can't enjoy golf and would rather sit in front of your HD TV then I feel really sorry for you. The definition at my golf course cannot be caputured by your POS TV.

4) Golf doesn't last for a short time. It's like 4 hours of fun. Or 1 hour of fun and 3 hours of cussing if you are me.

5) God forbid I value things differently than you.

6) How dare you.

7) May God have mercy on your soul.

8) Go back to calling every 5'10" 200 pound man "obese".

1. What's your point?

2. I never said a sick TV. I said one for $500. And I'm sure you can get it to last for 10 years. Hell, you can spend $300 for a decent HDTV nowadays.

3. Not hating on it. I'm just laughing at the fact that you could get a solid TV for a trading in a few rounds of golf, and yet you refuse to do so.

4. Yeah, so the combined total isn't even a day. Your TV will last at least 5 years.

5. Everyone is laughing at the fact that you watch enough sports to justify spending a few hundred dollars to get an HDTV, and yet you don't and act superior for not doing so.

6. Ok?

7. Religitarding

8. They are certainly overweight, and many of them will be obese. You really don't seem to understand this. Didn't you say you were 6'1 yourself and like 150 lbs at one point when sick? It means you could definitely be overweight at 200 lbs, and you are 3 inches taller.

Take a deep breath. Life is too short to get so mad about my TV ownership that you link posts I made in another forum here.

One of these days I'll make a video of my 5 TVs and then create a YT account and upload it. I think that would be pretty entertaining for everyone.

I'm not really sure how people can actually enjoy playing a serious round of golf. I can understand drinking and messing around with friends or going to the driving range. But jfc what a boring ass game.

Some people enjoy the things you find dull, and vice versa. It's that simple.
