Yeah I take the buzzer to the pits every now and then. Trim the hair down to about .5" Hair still there but shorter so as to minimize pit sweat. Perfect compromise imo.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a little manscaping of the armpit area. Kevin McHale-style armpit hair that stretches halfway to the nipples is not a good look.

Hmm, maybe I'll give it a shot. I am a high sweater, which is related to (IMO) the fact i drink a lot of water and am well hydrated.

if you just trim it won't be itchy. does your head itch after getting a haircut?

I dont rub my head. If I did, maybe it would. Whereas people naturally rub their arm(pits).

For example, grooming in the lower area is a good thing, but absolutely encounters some itching.

After a brief search:

Quote:
Do -- Trim armpit hair
The first do of our male body hair dos and don’ts concerns the fact that most men have hair under their arms and women expect and accept it. This doesn’t mean that you should let your armpit hair turn into an unkempt jungle, though. Keep your underarm hair trimmed to a reasonable length. It will not only look better this way, but you’ll also notice that you’ll sweat less and therefore smell better.
Don't -- Shave armpits bare
As stated above, women expect to see hair beneath a man’s arms. It’s probably not going to be the first thing she notices, but she’ll eventually realize that you have no hair under your arms and she’s bound to question your masculinity because of it. So, unless you’re a male model, keep some hair under there.

That's funny; last week I shaved my entire body but didn't even consider the underarms.

It gets really ****ing humid here.

I was carrying heavy grocery bags yesterday and my right index finger had a few bags right on the first joint and they were cutting circulation.

Now 24 hours later 1/2 my index finger past the joint is still numb and I have self-prescribed nerve damage (based on internet research) and its going to take 3-4 months for the feeling to come back.

So yea, I guess be careful of heavy grocery carrys imo.

Bobbo, see my post. My method satisfies this.

When you look at your armpit hair, about half of it should fall above the natural crease line, the other half below. Just shave the half that falls below this crease and leave the hair above (but shorten it a bit).

Now when your arm rubs against your torso you won't have any itch. Because the hair above the crease (on your arm) is long enough that it cushions the stubbly hair left below the crease (on your torso).

Seriously my method GOAT.

Yeah, I just run a trimmer with a #1 attachment on it through once a week or so. Wish I had an option a bit shorter than that though.

And w/r/t your sweat comment, I am an embarrassingly sweaty person. NOT A BRAG. Trimming helps mitigate the problem somewhat.

I shaved my chest once a couple years ago and since I'm super pale I've got pink areolas (lol). #notagoodlook. I immediately regretted it. Apparently my chest/nipple area hair that I thought was gross looking was doing a good job covering up my puffy pink areolas.

Also I really don't get why that TR was the turning point for people thinking I'm mad. I wasn't mad at all.

Zimmer, did you do Mozen brunch last time? Do that, its incredible.

I just find it strange that that's when I picked up the MAD label given that I've been confirmed MAD for like a decade of NFL Sundays on this board

Everyone thought you were mad, the TR simply raised the level to historic highs because you came off as an absurdly unhappy person.
