As compared to the part of the country in which Chads usually works, the Northeast is notoriously unwelcoming to homosexuals

Traffic isn't that bad in the northeast in my limited experience. However the drivers are terrible.

^^

Traffic is part of it but every trucker I've ever talked to has NE horror stories. Most who have the luxury generally outright refuse to go there. Hopefully winter weather won't apply, but regulations are draconian, hijackings relatively common, NYC and Philly not designed for trucks half as big as we drive, etc. Knock on wood I will get back west without having to try to blindside back into a customer from a philly city street or something similar. My one San Francisco delivery still haunts me

When I worked delivering ice in the summer in HS, one of the drivers was ridiculous with a truck, but he was also high on oxys most of the time. Also said he could park way better when he was high on weed. Interesting dude, was heading to jail to do 30 days when I left.

It definitely sucks to drive a truck up here.

You wont get carjacked tho unless you go into a really bad area by accident. If you do find yourself in an area you are legit afraid for your life, just keep going and run the red lights in places with 20 people kicking it staring you down.

Assuming your an over the road driver and not dedicated, how are you just now going to the NE? I'm just now refinding this thread so if I'm way off on my assumptions my apologies.

Trucking game is very regional these days, I'm based in Portland and run 11 western states. Freight slow in west atm tho

Usually that means I'm in Chicago or southeast, but this time I went from Memphis to Chicago and now to NH, unknown from there

That's actually really difficult, just by the nature of being a city makes a place ****ty for a truck

Top five worst way easier

Pain and Gain, especially considering Michael Bay, surprisingly not bad. There's still some ridiculously stupid **** that only Michael Bay is stupid enough to do, but still overall pretty entertaining
