It still seems like lending is stretched to me. I mean, if I was to lock in the max mortgage a bank would give me I would definitely run a reasonable defecit each month all else equal.

Start a job soon, would like to stop renting and purchase a home in ~2yrs.

seems reasonable. 3x gross income is probably a non-issue then assuming you've stayed employed for 2 years and don't have meaningful debt elsewhere.

Don't force yourself to push through the last few seasons though if you don't want to, the West Wing takes a pretty huge downturn after Sorkin left

Thanks, I guess I'll watch the first season anyways and decide if I want to do more.

156 episodes seemed like so much. Not sure if worth it.

Just need another show to watch.

Being a reasonable cab ride from an airport is a pretty big positive.

What cities in anyone's discussion don't have that? Without researching I bet even schu can pay like twenty bucks for a cab to an international airport. No traffic to boot

Atlanta's airport is a little different than your run of the mill airport that offers one flight to Mexico each week.

some quick googling tells me that the closest international airport to omaha is 170 miles away in kansas city.

Completely agree with this. Place I'm in right now has a w/d but no dishwasher. Places I've lived in in the past have had both, or just had w/d on premises. You just get used to it (no dishwasher), I mean hell you do 2/3 of the work anyway even when you have a dishwasher just by rinsing **** off and handwashing stuff that isn't dishwasher safe.

Last place I was at that had a w/d for the 4 units in the building was kind of a pain in the ass when dbags would forget their clothes in there, but man that has to be way better than a laundromat. I got laundromat as being just the worst. Do people steal clothes there, like to you have to sit there and watch them? For some reason whenever I drive by a laundromat I picture furtive dirtbags helping themselves to some new threads.

People are surprised Nebraska is cheap?

My apartment in college was a 2 bedroom that was over 1000 sf and I think my roommate and I paid 675 total. 350 for me since my room had the ceiling fan. Other utilities were billed separately.

This was 15 minutes outside the city of Houston. Was safe when we first moved in but within like 4 years it was really ****ing ghetto. My Filipino roommate and myself were the only non-blacks by the time we left. And yeah he got held at gunpoint outside the apartment in daylight for 2 sacks of groceries he was holding. He called me from his mom's house that night and was like "I'm moving out". lol. Luckily we only had like 2 months left on our lease. I rode it out like a boss.

Cheap cities are cheap.

New York's airport situation really does suck ass. Basically if you don't wanna drop $50 on a cab you can choose from a variety of multi-hour incredibly convoluted processes to possibly get there on time.

Laundry service getting highly underrated itt. You guys do realize they do pickup & delivery, right? I don't even remember how much it used to cost, but if it costs less than half your hourly pay, it's totally worth it. Not that that mattered to me--I always hated doing laundry.

Right now in Bum**** I've got a great w/d but I'd still if there was such a laundry service around here.

Pro tip: dishwashers are perfect for washing hats.
