Never get anyone a complete series unless you know they like it. S1 should be enough to give them a taste.

well i was just thinking economically. i've seen the individual seasons priced at like $30-50, so if you can get the complete series for less than $100 like i did then it's a steal. if they don't like it, they can always re-gift it to someone with good taste.

fwiw, right now the seasons are $30 on Amazon, and the complete series is $113...maybe it'll go on sale in the next two weeks (i got mine a couple years ago pretty close to the 25th, or maybe after, when it was on some super-sale).

obv you should buy multiple complete series if you can get them cheap, but still give them out individually. people you don't like very much get season 5, and people you like a lot get season 4.

i feel you. i do most online but i'm such a procrastinator, that it usually takes me punishing myself on one saturday in mid-december to get motivated enough to pay the ******ed shipping prices off amazon.

had a 6 of red stripe (and a can-opener, lol) ready to go, but like i said i ended up hanging out with my friend's son all day.

**** i don't know how you parents do it. this kid has more energy than me on 4loko. 7+ hours of running around, and he was still clowning at the end.

side note: saw 2 teenagers in a fist fight today hahaha. nothing to report really, just a couple clumsy haymakers + wrestling.
