wtf at gunshots or it not being national news?

I didn't think/know it was the same guys as the bombing, hence the national news thing. Obviously that was wrong knowing they are connected now.

We got almost weekly emails about armed robberies and shootings and it wasn't uncommon (though not super common either) to hear gunshots all a few blocks away from campus and a few times a year on campus.

**** punt is, was, and will continue to be a great phrase.

hoping we get the guy alive, but dont like the odds. only possibility of that changing is the notion that it doesnt seem like his upbringing was radical, hes only 19, and his brother just died and he might realize he really ****ed up.

It's an important question, but do you think you're ever going to get a useful answer out of a guy like this? I think this guy is 99% likely to give you some answer that is either totally irrational or some generic terrorist answer about he hates America and their foreign policies. What type of answer exactly would you expect or want to get out of him?

How his hatred developed. How it turned violent. What the specific object of the hatred is. If he's mentally ill. Just stuff that helps us place this attack in a useful, broader context.
