Nitpicking but Hbob hasnt solved the NBA.

So in addition to Duke not making the Final 4 this weekend my whole week just got ruined. I was supposed to have jury duty, but found out I was excused last night. This morning my boss decides to tell me that he had to turn down a Masters ticket for me for a few days this week because he couldn't wait on the offer until I found out if I had jury duty. Nut low Monday already.

Why did you tell the office that you got out of jury duty? Looks like you cost yourself a paid day off right there.

sounds like he was getting out of it so he could get the masters ticket and when he told his boss he succeeded boss was like "sry bro had to turn down the tickets since you took so long"

Seems like a pretty unethical thing to do.

Meh. If you have a project-based or collaborative environment where people are counting on you to be in the office that's one thing. If you're just filling out TPS reports and occupying a seat all day then I don't see the big deal.

Elaborate on how I would go about this? Also, I respect and like my bosses so I don't really have a desire to disrespect them or slank away from work.

Well, its basically impossible to tell ahead of time how urgent things will be on a given day. Its been dead all morning, but I could be slammed at any moment.

Someone actually bought and paid for a BLT sandwich yesterday. Literally white toast, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo. So pointless.
